Thank you to all of our members and visitors for your presence and enthusiasm during the 2015-2016 season, which comes to an end on Monday July 4th. The ANP has changed a lot in 12 months. We are no longer just the little club that hires Roger Le Gall Swimming Pool; we have organised outings throughout the year which have allowed us to meet fellow naturists around France and beyond. Our association has grown younger with a massive influx of 18 to 30 year olds and we have a lot more female members.
Events: ANP members participated in three interesting events in June.
At the Gymno Club Rhodanien, our friends from Lyon welcomed us like royalty. After an afternoon of sports activities on ground and in the water, we spent the evening making our own pizzas, surrounded by the members of this very dynamic club.
A small group of members participated in the World Naked Bike Ride in Brussels on Saturday June 18th. This annual event is an opportunity for cyclists in several countries to show that we are naked every day against cars and pollution.
The Essonne Sun Club welcomed us once again, this time for a day organised especially for the ANP. We were a very large group – around 70 people – for a wonderful outing. We all ate together at lunchtime, sharing our many sweet and savoury dishes. This friendly atmosphere continued throughout the day with different sports activities, the pool, a nude hike with Jacques and Sylvie from APNEL and body painting with Alexis of Projet Symbiose. The sun was a little on the shy side, only showing its face towards the end of the afternoon when half of our friends had already left. The day was nevertheless very warm thanks to the welcome provided by the club.
The end of the season at the pool doesn’t mean an end to our excursions! A group of members is heading to La Genèse Camping Ground in the Gard department of France for the week of July 11th and on Sunday July 24th we’re off to visit a local sun club we haven’t yet discovered: Les Hespérides in Étréchy. If you would like to attend this day out, please send me an email. It’s limited to 30 people.
Massage: In June, we added massage to our list of activities. A big thank you goes to Thomas for offering his hands on Mondays and Michel on Wednesdays. As with our yoga classes, places are limited and you can sign up either at the pool or by email.
