Hi,
Spring is drawing to a nice close with a delicious wave of heat. The roof of the pool was raised last weekend and we rediscovered the pleasure of swimming naked under the stars during the last week of May.
Events: The big event in May was our Annual General Meeting on the 14th. For the first time, we hired a hall in a local naturist club to hold the AGM naked. During the morning, the weather wasn’t quite on our side but the sun came out at midday and we were able to soak it up a bit. A big thank you goes to Jean-François and his team at the Club Gymnique de France, who welcomed us warmly. All of our reports were voted unanimously and the volunteers who work hard to run the association were voted in.
With the return of good weather, our outings in the sun begin again.
The association Imaginat is organising three days of activities during this first weekend of June for the Festival of the Art of Living Naked. Many ANP members will be present.
On June 10th, a group of our members are heading to London for the World Naked Bike Ride.
On Thursday June 15th, we will be at the nude bowling tournament organised by the Île de France chapter of the French Federation of Naturism at Ozoir la Ferrière in the outer suburbs of Paris.
For more information on our outings, please take a look at the events page on our website. If you would like to participate, please contact us by email or directly at the welcome desk of the pool.
ANP on Twitter: Cédric, the youngest member of our team, is now looking after our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/ANPnaturiste75/) and has also created a Twitter account: https://twitter.com/ANPnaturiste75
Please follow us!!
Closure: The pool and gym will be closed on Monday, June 5th for Pentecost.
Pot luck gathering: On Friday June 16th, the swimming session will end with our monthly drinks. This time, I ask you all to come with a speciality of your region or country of origin. It could be something sweet or savoury, to eat or drink.
Swimming lanes: You have perhaps noticed the signs in front of some of the lanes in the pool. Our lifeguards try to make our sessions more enjoyable for everyone, allowing each swimmer to share a lane with others practising the same movement and at pretty much the same speed. Let’s all respect these signs for the benefit of everyone. Spare a thought as well for our friends in Nautena, who hire the last lane on Wednesdays and Fridays. During these two sessions, lane 6 is reserved for scuba diving.
Naturistly,
Laurent
