Nudesletter – January 2019

Happy Nude Year!

I hope you all had a good festive season. We’ve come to the end of what was a fantastic year for the ANP. In addition to our sessions at Roger Le Gall swimming pool, the City of Paris gave us the naturist zone in the Bois de Vincennes for six months (6 months of amazing weather, on top of that!) and it was a year full of great outings, notably the visit to the Palais de Tokyo in May, which attracted the attention of the world’s media, the association’s 65th birthday also in May and Paris Naturist Day the last Sunday in June.

We welcomed many new members – men and women, young and not-so-young – and you are already part of the ANP family. Thank you for your involvement and your presence at the pool and at our events.

Thanks also to our employees (our swimming instructors, Stefano, Amine, Laura, Christophe and Patrick plus Damien for his yoga classes and Yvan for his gym classes) and our masseurs, who give their time free of charge to give you a moment of relaxation.

Finally, I thank those without whom this association would not exist, the board of management: Denis (vice-president/treasurer), Cédric (vice-préseident/secretary), Stéphane (assistant treasurer/events manager), Éric (human resources), Laurent (spokesperson), Julien (assistant spokesman/open spaces), Béatrice (communication FFN/gatherings), Michel (GDPR), Fabrice (events), Nicolas, Vincent and the newest member of the team, Sylvie. These people give up their free time at the welcome desk and behind the scene so that the machine functions and that you can enjoy our activities.

Events in December:

The karaoke evening was one of the funniest outings we’ve ever organised. In a karaoke club privatised for the occasion, we sang, ate, drank and laughed for three hours.

Our Christmas dinner at O’Naturel went down very well in a festive atmosphere, with a great menu created by the restaurant’s owners, Mike and Stéphane.

Upcoming events:

2019 starts in style with the first ever performance of the naturist play “Nu et Approuvé” at the Palais des Glaces theatre in Paris on Sunday January 20th. Click on this link to reserve your seats. Don’t miss this rare opportunity.

On Monday February 4th, we’re organising tryouts for the international naturist swimming gala the ANP is organising in Paris in October. For February 4th, the pool will be divided in half, with the competition at the deep end, leaving 25m for those who want to swim peacefully. You can already sign up for this event by sending us an email or at the welcome desk during our swim sessions.

For more information on our outings, please take a look at the events page on our website or send us an email or an SMS on +33 7 66 14 53 09.

Closure: The gym is closed on Tuesday January 1st but we’re open for the remainder of the Christmas holidays. We have the second pool for two more sessions, Wednesday 2nd and Friday 4th from 9:30pm.

Monthly drinks: January’s theme is a French winter classic, les galettes des rois (Kings’ Cakes). Please come along with something to share this Wednesday, January 2nd.

Italian holiday: We have fixed the dates of our stay at Grottamiranda naturist resort in the Puglia region of Italy. You have the choice between a full week from Sunday May 5th till Sunday 12th or 4 nights from May 8th to 12th. For more information, please contact Stéphane at anp.paris75@gmail.com or by SMS on +33 7 66 14 53 09.

I wish you all a very Happy Nude Year. I hope that 2019 will be a huge year for the ANP and for the naturist movement. I especially hope that it will be a wonderful year for you all in your personal and professional pursuits, a year filled with joy, happiness, friendship, good health and good naked times.

A thought goes out to Bernard, known by everyone, who is recovering after an operation last week. I hope to see him back with us in excellent health very soon.

Naturistly,

Laurent
