Nudesletter – November 2019

Hello!

We’ve fallen straight into autumn with daylight savings and a drop in temperature. Suddenly, the water – which is always at 27°C – feels hotter and everyone wants to swim, or at least warm themselves in the water.

Events in October:

There were 400 of us at the water park event on Saturday October 5th in Mons. Congratulations to the Belgian Naturist Federation for the excellent organisation!

The weather was on our side over the last weekend of the season and a lot of us were in the naturist zone of the Bois de Vincennes on October 13th for a yoga class with Damien and a picnic. Now this area, like many public parks in Paris, has gone into maintenance mode for 6 months, before it reopens mid April.

The naked soccer match on October 17th was fun, with a group of naturists up against a team of English ex-professionals. Thank you to our members who joined in!

We broke all the records at the Swimming Gala. 300 participants from 18 federations shared a weekend rich in emotions. A special thanks to Béatrice and Stéphane for the months of work, to Sandrine who surpassed all expectations as the French team captain, to Thomas who went on a massage marathon, to our big group of volunteers, without whom this event would never have happened and, of course, to our team of swimmers! I also thank our partners, who very generously offered prizes that 21 participants won during the Gala evening:

1 week for 2 people at Grottamiranda
1 week for 2 people at Origan Village
1 week for 2 people at la Sablière
5 nights at Bare Oaks
4 nights with breakfast for 2 people at Finca Johanna
1 weekend for 4 people at the Coq Rouge
1 week for 4 people at the Coq Rouge
1 weekend in a caravan for 2 people at the Club du Soleil de l’Essonne
5 free entries or a weekend of camping for 2 people at the Club du Soleil de l’Essonne
3 subscriptions to Naturisme Magazine
1 subscription to la Vie au Soleil (printed version)
1 subscription to la Vie au Soleil + 1 world naturist guide book
3 online subscriptions to la Vie au Soleil

The Gala evening also presented the Naturist Talents to the world. Stéphane assembled 11 naturists with very diverse talents, who provided the evening’s entertainment. They are now available to perform at naturist resorts in summer! To tell you more, I’ll hand over to Stéphane…

The evening show of the Naturist Talent Artists.

Let’s honour the artists by order of their stage entrance, our Naturist Talents, who magnificently brought the Gala evening to life, by recalling their rich and diverse performances.

The evening began with Vincent HABER, composer and singer, who fervently opened the evening with the swinging grooves of his rhythmic compositions, between jazz and electro-pop.

Punctuating the second act, Court Circuit, surrealist visual comic, as he likes to define himself, depicted a series of zany and exuberant characters, interpreting successively a burlesque chest of drawers, an animated Picasso painting and a screaming Bianca Castafiore among others. In tempo with his naturist stage partners, the multitalented Jeremy Coffman, singer and pianist, accompanied Paul, lyric singer, who sang Wagner and Mozart, Matteo Stefania, juggling singer performing Lady Gaga and Vincent Simonet, who performed several numbers.

Pierre Andrac with a different vocal style, took us on another singing journey, accompanied by Stefano on the saxophone. Then, Damien Lecerf played the viola da gamba in a poetic moment illustrated by a juggling Matteo.

Together, they all demonstrated the diversity of our naturist talents.

Gabriel Josues enchanted the audience with his guitar. Denis Gauthier, aka DéDé the Naked Clown, created wonderful and poetic balloon sculptures, which he distributed to an audience won over by the magic of the moment, while Stefano Giust accompanied him on the saxophone with Rhapsody in Blue and led the crowd to the grand finale.

The Naturist Talents, with their talented generosity, left their mark on everyone after a special day.

October 23rd’s singing workshop with Vincent was a success. 25 members discovered song and how to manage their voices though physical and relaxing exercises. It was a revelation for some, who overcame their shyness and, for others, pure rapture. With requests for more lessons and even the creation of a nude choral group, we’re going to try to set up a monthly class with Vincent. To be continued most likely in December…
Meanwhile, Vincent gives private naked singing lessons.
