Hello!
For many naturists, July was a gorgeous month. After the confinement, followed by the uncertainty of being able to take holidays or not, many of us took our vacations in our favourite naturist resorts. I had a wonderful holiday at la Sablière and at Origan Village, two of the world’s most beautiful naturist resorts.
Before I announce a huge event in September, here’s a rundown on last month’s activities.
Events in July:
We were happy to offer you a variety of outings in July. The month began with the last sports sessions on Zoom, launched during the confinement to allow you to stay in shape. The classes are ongoing but now in the naturist park in the Bois de Vincennes.
Stéphane and Ted accompanied groups on nude forest hikes every week, ending each time with a picnic.
On the 18th we visited our friends at the Hespérides in the Essonne department (45 minutes from Paris) for a lovely day in the sun. Their anti-COVID security measures were impressive but didn’t prevent us from spending an excellent day with friends.
The following weekend, we continued our tour of the region at the Essonne Sun Club, where we enjoyed the pool and other amenities until late in the evening.
On the 25th, a group of members set off for Origan Village to spend a week relaxing, enjoying the pool, river, hiking and visiting the breathtaking region.
Upcoming events:
While we wait for our activities to restart at Roger Le Gall swimming pool in September, our coaches continue to give gym and yoga classes in the naturist zone of the Bois de Vincennes throughout August, followed by a picnic:
Sunday August 2nd from 11:30am – 12:30pm: acroyoga class with Yvan
Thursday August 6th from 7pm – 8pm: gym class with Yvan
Sunday August 9th from 11:30am – 12:30pm: gym class with Claire
Sunday August 16th from 11:30am – 12:30pm: gym class with Claire
Thursday August 20th from 7pm – 8pm: yoga class with Damien
Sunday August 23rd from 11:30am – 12:30pm: yoga class with Damien
Sunday August 30th from 11:30am – 12:30pm: yoga class with Damien
Please respect the distance between people.
On September 5th, our members with up to date membership are invited to our Annual General Meeting. Due to this year’s unusual circumstances, masks will be compulsory in the hall and places are limited. During the afternoon, we will enjoy the grounds of the Club Gymnique de France, with its pool, tennis court and pétanque area. Outside, there will be enough space for everyone.
On Saturday September 12th, we have a stand at the 12th Arrondissement’s Association Fair.
On Sunday September 13th, we have the pleasure of inviting you to a huge event: a naturist visit of the Louis de Funès exhibition at the Cinémathèque française (French Film Library) in Paris. You can book on August 26th from 11am via the link we will communicate on our website the same day. Places are very limited for this outstanding event and face masks will be compulsory.
Still on September 13th, naturists will ride side by side with cyclists and ecologists across France for another try at launching the World Naked Bike Ride. Let’s hope that this year it is authorised.
For more information on our outings, please take a look at the events page on our website or send us an email or an SMS on +33 7 66 14 53 09.
Naturistly,
Laurent
