Nudesletter – August 2021

Hello,

After a very difficult year for everyone, I have some very good news to announce to you for the upcoming season starting in September:

New pool: Thanks to Paris Town Hall, we have a second pool! As you know, I’ve been looking for one for six years. Having exhausted my requests on the west side of Paris, I looked closer to home (the ANP’s home, not mine). For those who were in the ANP in 2014, you’ll remember our six month closure during major work at Roger Le Gall swimming pool, during which we had no back up pool. This new 25m pool will therefore save us from another such calamity and the new time slot opens the ANP to families and those for whom our weeknight hours are too late.

Here are the details:

Georges Rigal Swimming Complex – Saturdays from 8pm to 10pm
115 boulevard de Charonne, 75011 Paris
Métro line 2 (Alexandre Dumas station)
Bus 76 (Charonne Bagnolet bus stop)

Our first session at Georges Rigal should be on Saturday September 4th. As for Roger Le Gall, it will reopen on Monday September 13th, after a two week water change.

New coaches: To fill in the gaps in our programme, we have hired a new yoga teacher, Meire, and a new gym instructor, Glaubeson. Both will be in the naturist park in the Bois de Vincennes on Sundays until the end of the season (weather permitting).

Events in July:

Between the raindrops, our coaches were present in July to give you gym and yoga classes. I hope the sun will return in August.

Everyone had a wonderful day at the Hespérides on July 18th. A warm welcome, so typical of this club, was reserved for our members.

July 21st’s hike was enjoyed by all the participants.

The stay at Origan Village naturist resort went very well, between time at the pool, the river, nude hikes and cocktails.

Upcoming events:

This month’s hike will take place on Wednesday August 11th.

On Thursday 19th, it will be time for another Nordic walk.

On Saturday August 21st, we’re organising an ANP outing at the Club Gymnique de France in Villecresnes. So come along with your picnic hampers for a nice day with friends.
Sanitary passport or negative test to be presented at reception.

The number of participants is reduced but the good news is that the 49th Swimming Gala, organised by the International Naturist Federation, will be held in Turin, under the direction of the Unione Naturisti Italiani, from November 5th to 7th. We weren’t able to organise trials this year but if you would like to participate, please contact us.

Our evening to see the play “Les Fous Alliés” is still on, on Monday November 15th and the theatre has increased the number of seats available. You can reserve your places for just €15.

For more information on our outings, please take a look at the events page on our website or send us an email or an SMS on +33 7 66 14 53 09.

Online fitness: We’re suspending our online activities in August.

Naturist guide: Several people asked me over the past few weeks if there is a complete guide with all the naturist places in France. The answer is yes! For just €12, you can order Naturisme partout en France from the FFN.

Membership renewal: We extended your membership by 14 months during Roger Le Gall’s closure. Many of you no longer have valid membership and I invite you to renew over the coming weeks (and don’t worry, your new membership will only start in September). If you’re unsure of your dates, please send us an email.

Naturistly,
Laurent
