Nudesletter – June 2021

Hello,

Life is returning bit by bit. The naturist park in the Vincennes Woods has been open since May 19th. With all the rain we’ve had this past month, the area is green and lush.

Events in May:

Jean-François Lapointe, President of the Quebecois Naturist Federation, was the special guest at our conference on May 5th on Zoom, along with his Vice-President, Joane. We heard about the naturist movement in Quebec and their future projects.

On Sunday 16th, we had a trip around the world during our English Zoom gathering, Hands Across the Globe.

On Thursday 20th, we launched a new activity, Nordic Walking, in Fontainebleau Forest.

On Saturday May 22nd, we had drinks with friends on Zoom.

We ended the month of May with our first open air yoga class and picnic of the season in the Vincennes Woods. What a pleasure to see friends again after so long!

Upcoming events:

Our classes on Zoom will continue and you can reserve your places here.

Monday: Gym class with Yvan at 9pm
Tuesday: Gym class with Claire at 9pm
Wednesday: Pilates class with Yannick at 6:30pm
Thursday: Gym class with Claire at 9pm
Friday: Yoga class with Hamish at 9pm

Damien will be giving just one Zoom class this month, on Sunday 6th at 11:30am. His other classes will be held in the naturist park in the Bois de Vincennes, on Sunday 13th, 20th and 27th, at 11:30am.

Yvan will be introducing new activities to his Monday classes, which will require an elastic strap. They’re available online or in sports stores.

Our outing on June 12th is almost upon us! The Association Jeune Création will welcome us at the Fondation Fiminco in Romainville for the 71st edition of their festival, highlighting the works of 46 young artists. Access is strictly reserved for naturists for the whole morning.
Join us, everyone, for our first real event in 9 months.
Reservation compulsory and free.

Our Fontainebleau Forest hikes will continue in June, open to all. On Wednesday June 16th, we’ll be back at Fontainebleau for a hike.

On Wednesday 23rd, it will be for a Nordic Walk.

Following the success of our trip to Origan Village naturist resort in 2020, the ANP is heading back this year, from July 17th – 24th. Origan is an ANP partner and our members enjoy a 20% discount.

From July 26th – August 3rd, join us for an active naturist walking tour in Germany with Thüringer Naturistentage. Sleeping arrangements and carpooling from Paris can be organised. Places limited.

Our theatre evening, originally planned for 2020, is still happening. A huge amount of you have already booked your places, which remain valid, and I thank you for your patience. The play will resume performances later in the year and the theatre will be privatised for us on Monday November 15th at 7pm. Tickets are back on sale and I invite you to book your seats for only €15.

For more information on our outings, please take a look at the events page on our website or send us an email or an SMS on +33 7 66 14 53 09.

International events: Normal life is slowly resuming and the International Naturist Federation is relaunching its annual gatherings. Check out the INF’s calendar for more information.

Anti body shaming campaign: Congratulations to the FFN – particularly to Éric for his 18 months of hard work – for the launch of its anti body shaming campaign on Thursday May 27th. This campaign draws our attention to the pressure placed on people of all ages by the media to reach a level of “perfection” that less than 1% of the population can attain. As naturists, we know that the human body exists in all forms and that all bodies are beautiful. Love yourselves as you are and be proud!

Annual General Meeting: Our AGM will take place this weekend. Many of you thought you’d received the invitation my mistake, having forgotten that we have been extending membership since the first confinement. The number of participants is limited, because of COVID, and inscriptions have been closed since last Friday. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Bruno Saurez: I’ve saved the last word to wish a speedy recovery to our friend Bruno Saurez, President of the Association Naturiste Phocéenne, victim of a serious bicycle accident in Marseille recently.

Naturistly,
Laurent
