We welcomed a large number of new members in January and I wish you all a warm welcome to the ANP family.
I have the feeling (or optimism) that the situation is settling down and that normal life is slowly returning. We’re therefore planning things for the year ahead and hope to see you at our different activities.
Events in January:
On January 1st, the ANP was well represented at the first nude swim of the year at la Redoute Beach in Merville Franceville Plage, organised by the Normandy chapter of the FFN. The turnout was great for the event’s inauguration and we’ll try to go even higher next year.

For a romantic evening on Monday February 14th, come and compete in our water polo match at 9pm at Roger Le Gall Swimming Pool.

The Gymno Club Rhodanien is privatising a flammekueche restaurant in the heart of Lyon on Saturday March 5th at 7:30pm. Reserve before March 1st to benefit from the reduced tariff of just €22.
Reserve your places for the next session at the Grand Chambord aquatic centre, organised by the regional committee of the FFN Centre Val de Loire on Saturday March 26th.
On April 9th we’re privatising Roger Le Gall Swimming Pool for a big day of friendly and fun competition. Sign up to participate as a swimmer or as a spectator. We will end the day with a nude dinner in a local restaurant.
We’re off to Marseille from April 27th – May 1st for a few days of nude hiking along the coastline, with our friends from l’Association Naturiste Phocéenne.

Monthly drinks: Like every year in February, the theme of our monthly gathering at Roger Le Gall this month will be Candlemas, so come with your crepes, your favourite toppings and drinks on Monday February 7th.
Gym, yoga and Pilates classes: What a success! The gym is full just about every evening. I remind you that places are limited, so please send an email at the start of each week to reserve yours.
We welcomed a new coach in January. Stefy looks forward to meeting our members on Thursdays for her Pilates classes.

Massage: Our volunteer masseur Michel is there every Wednesday to give you free massages. All necessary anti-COVID precautions are taken to reassure both the masseur and the person being massaged. You can reserve the table by sending us an email.
Hours: Certain members like to chat at the end of the session. It makes me happy that friendships are created at the ANP but we must respect our hours, which last two hours, six times per week. If we drag our feet at the end of the session, we prevent the pool employees from doing their job and from returning home. So, please respect our closing time strictly.
University project: You may know Enora, who has been a regular at our two pools for a few months now. She has chosen naturism and the human body in today’s society as the project for her diploma. She would like to interview ANP members. We each have our own unique story to tell and our own relationship with our body. If you would like to participate, please send us an email.
International youth meeting: After a two year pause, EuNat (the European commission of the International Naturist Federation) is relaunching the annual gathering. This year, it will be held in Northern Germany from May 26th – 29th, open to young naturists from age 18 to 27, for just €50.
Death: I regret to inform you of the death of our former president Jean-Claude Thuel-Chassaigne on December 11th, at the age of 83. A mass in is honour will take place on Sunday March 20th at 11:30am at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.
